Buyer sought for troubled holiday park business in liquidation

A buyer is being sought for a troubled holiday park that went into liquidation last month with debts of £1.75m.

North Wales Live reported in February that HMRC had lodged a winding up petition at the High Court on Dyserth Falls Ltd, based at Dyserth Falls Resort.

Earlier this month liquidators were called in by the owners of the park with Brendan Hogan of Anderson Brookes Insolvency Practitioners Ltd and Stephen Michael Berry of Opus Restructuring appointed. Now they have started to market the site and are already speaking to potential interested parties. They have not stated the guide price.

The seven acre site includes a range of log cabins and a hotel.

Many of the lodges at Dyserth Falls were owned by private individuals or under timeshare agreements, and the liquidators would also like to hear from anyone who may have held an interest in the resort.
